Navigate your way through the stats table by using the drop-down menus and discover some valuable statistics.

You may be wondering if statistics can help you with your betting? Undoubtedly! Data driven betting is one of the best ways to make more accurate predictions, and if done well they could be the difference between a stake won or a stake lost.

Premier League statistics are some of the most comprehensive, and we’ve included some brilliant details on player and team stats which gets updated daily.

Here’s the best way to take the data and make some great predictions:

Step 1: Dive into the stats

The first thing to do is familiarise yourself with our stats. Go through the different team markets, search the player stats, and find out all that the table has to offer. Keep on the lookout for any standouts.

For example: Nicolas Jackson has received 5 yellow cards in 6 matches for fighting with the referee. While he might be more careful, there’s a good chance he’ll get more.

Step 2: Piece the individual stats together

Once you find a few of these interesting stats you may want to start thinking about comparing them to start forming some sort of accumulator. This could include searching for teams which have scored and conceded often and who get many yellow cards to create a ‘both teams to score and over 1.5 yellow cards bet’.

If you’re looking for more in depth statistics for each market, check out our football stats centre which has some brilliant insight into betting stats.

Step 3: Decide when is best to place your best

Some stats are perfect for in-play betting. Players who make many fouls are likely to get a yellow card for persistent fouling but less likely to get a yellow early on. Waiting till the first half to bet on a player to get a yellow card will give you much greater odds, although it is a greater risk.

The Premier League standings give us the first indication to many team stats. Our table is brilliant for finding out who’s playing best, scoring the most goals, conceding the least and much more.

The highlight of the table is the form stat, which shows how each club played in their previous 5 matches.

A team on a high is more likely to push harder to keep up their form, while a team getting battered every week may be unable to get out of the rut.

You may also want to see the Premier League home and away stats as teams normally play better at home. Check out our Premier League stats and trends guide for a more in depth understanding.

English Premier League Fixtures

Looking ahead in fixtures is vital. With so many variables each week, context is key.

Fulham will likely play defensively against Arsenal but will be more attacking minded against Sheffield United – meaning they’re likely to score more in the latter but more likely to commit fouls and receive cards in the former.

If you’re searching for the best odds guaranteed, we’ve got you covered. Our fixtures include just that, so you always get the most bang for your buck. You can toggle by round and switch the odds format as well.

There are over 20 markets for player stats, and these can be divided by team and position as well. Most of the markets are perfect for in-play betting and here are a few examples.

Goal scorers – Since goals aren’t always a given, betting on a goalscorer can yield decent odds, unless you’re betting on Erling Haaland. For anyone other player, finding out if they are a team’s primary goalscorer, or if they take penalties for their club should give you a better indication of whether or not they score.

The table above shows stats from last season’s Premier League’s top performers. Of course some bets seem a lot more likely, like Haaland to score at anytime.

Card betting – This is great for both player and team bets. Some players get more yellows than other, and they may be good value for accumulator betting.

Assists – Players like Kevin de Bruyne and Bruno Fernandes are great shouts for providing assists. You can also use these stats as an indication of how many goals are being scored.

Mix and Match Stats – Taking a holistic approach to research is by far the best way to make predictions.

For example, if a team concedes many freekicks, you may want to look out for yellow card stats for that team, as they’ll likely receive more – and you may want to see if there are any freekick specialists on the opposing team who are more likely to score thanks to having more chances.

The Premier League transfer of Harry Kane to Bayern Munich means that there aren’t any current players in the top 10 – Alan Shearer can breathe a sigh of relief.

The all time top scorer from the pool of players still playing in the Premier League is Mo Salah on 143 goals (as of 04/10/2023).

Premier League Goalkeeper Stats

A brilliant shot stopper is often the difference between a club being title challengers to title winners, just look at Liverpool after they bought Alisson.

Some of the best keepers on the planet grace our shores and goalkeeper stats have become more crucial than ever when betting.

Looking back to previous seasons the likes of Ederson, Alisson and David De Gea have all won the awards multiple times, showing that the very best are able to consistently produce clean sheet worthy performances – it’s a perfect indicator for player clean sheet betting. Here is a list of the previous golden glove winners.

If you’re looking for depth, this is the place to be with over 35 different markets to go trough, including both teams to score, half time and full time results over/under stats, draws, and corners to name but a few.

You may think that past matches don’t affect future games, but in reality, teams tend to follow a pattern and if for example, a team is scoring many goals but conceding a lot as well, a BTTS bet might be your best pick.

Finding standout stats will give you opportunities to place more reasonable and reliable bets. With so many different stats available, you’re spoiled for choice on what to bet on!

Finding league predictors could also be a way to enhance your betting arsenal and sites such as Kickform.com offer just that. Data driven predictions with interesting results.

Most Successful Premier League Teams

Since its rebranding in 1992, the Premier League has seen seven teams crowned champions, with Manchester United winning the most titles.

Manchester City are on course to win a fourth consecutive title which would be a record in all of English football history.

In early 1992, the FA Premier League was formed. At the time, English football was in disarray, with stadiums crumbling, hooliganism rampant, and the on-field action lagging behind the rest of Europe.

By the following August, 22 clubs, who had each resigned from the Football League in May that year, kicked off the new Premier League season. At the time, the league was known internationally as The Premiership, but was rebranded in 2007 to the Premier League. Today, it is known as the English Premier League, or the EPL for short.

The first Premier League match broadcast live saw Nottingham Forest beat Liverpool, while the first Premier League goal was scored by Brian Deane of Sheffield United in a 2-1 win against Manchester United.

In 1995, the number of teams competing in the Premier League was reduced to 20, which remains the same today.

Since the 2000s, the global profile of the Premier League has expanded rapidly. This has led to more lucrative television and sponsorship deals, causing the division to become one of the richest and best-known on the planet today.

There’s no doubt that the Premier League is currently the most lucrative league in the world , with the team finishing in last place still receiving more funds than the Serie A champions.

In recent times, Manchester City’s dominance has been unrivalled by anyone else since Ferguson’s United. With five titles in six years, City are one of the best in the Premier League era.

Having said all this, many fans feel uncertain about the future of the EPL. As the coming years see a potential influx of billionaire investors, smaller clubs may find themselves further and further away from ever reaching glory.

Newcastle’s rapid rise is testimony to this, and the gulf only seems to be getting bigger with smaller clubs unable to enjoyed sustained success.

Recent Premier League Winners

The Premier League trophy has been handed out to only 6 teams in the past 20 years and the dominance of the big six means that most teams will have an empty spot in their trophy cabinet for a long time.
